Stayed here on a two night New Years package. Firstly the room was'nt the biggest but was clean and had everything we needed. The New Years eve party was lovely (food was hot and tasty (our compliments to the kitchen staff). but what really made our stay was the fantastic staff they were so friendly and happy throughout our stay can't praise them enough. A great stay and the package was great value too.

Excellent hotel room and service of room. Good attention to detail and replenishment of stocks. The lunch room and bar staff appeared slightly brusque and slow at service, but it was busy. Lovely stay. We didn’t have breakfast.

We went to the three Swans for Sunday lunch. The food was nice, service was good, price was reasonable. Couple of things I didn't like tho. Firstly you have to pay for the carpark. Secondly, I didn't like the way they automatically add a 10% tip onto your bill (gratuity) you can ask for it to be removed if you spot it. Me personally, i think you should just tip what you feel is fair.

Lovely modernised Coaching Inn. Given a room in the old part, but very clean, comfortable & we'll equipped. Likewise, with the bathroom with a bath/shower. The only problem it was up 3 flights of stairs, so probably ask for an alternative which there are plenty of. We twice had the evening meal from a good range menu, we'll cooked, which was served hot by very nice, polite staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was equally as good, again the staff were polite & friendly. The "Inn Collection" has a number of similar hotels round the country and we we would be happy to stay at this hotel again or one of their others.
